How does it work?

If inventory is running low, you should replenish it immediately and update your inventory counts on Walmart Marketplace Canada.

Method	Use Case
Single Item Upload Method	You can update inventory for individual SKUs or small groups of items through your Catalog in Seller Center.
Bulk Update Method	The Inventory spec is an Excel template that allows you to update inventory information for several items at once in the Seller Center. For more information, visit Update Inventory in Bulk in Seller Center.
API Integration	If you have a large catalog of items and a technical team to support your operations, consider automating inventory updates through API. For more information, visit API Integration Methods.

Frequently asked questions

How are orders reserved and processed?

My item is appearing as out of stock on Walmart.ca. Why does it show that I have inventory Reserved and on hand in Seller Center?

Once an item has been purchased by a customer, it is added to your reserved inventory quantity until you’ve marked it as shipped. If your on hand and reserved inventory quantities are the same amount, this means customers have purchased all inventory on hand and the item will appear as out of stock on Walmart.ca.
To avoid this, we strongly encourage you to provide Walmart with an on-hand inventory quantity that is at least 20 more than the reserved inventory quantity. For example, if you have 30 shirts in your reserved inventory you should provide an on-Hand inventory quantity of 50.

How do I zero out my Reserved inventory quantity?
