What is the policy?
Walmart Marketplace requires all product listings only contain truthful claims that are subject to necessary jurisdictional restrictions or prohibition. This applies to all products and claim types.
Examples of general product claims include:
- Air purification efficacy
- “Approvals” by 3rd party companies or agencies
- Heritage origins (e.g., Native American tribes)
- Jewelry or Precious Metal contents
- Magnification power
- Organic claims
- Textile contents
Made in the USA
What is the policy?
Walmart requires any Made in the USA product claim to be consistent across images, product packaging and item attributes. Any item featuring this product claim that is found to contain conflicting information within its listing or details will be unpublished.
