MCS benefits

Multichannel Solutions is ideal if you find yourself juggling customer orders across multiple eCommerce sites. Here are just some of the benefits:

  • Fulfill on and beyond Walmart.com by offering customers fast, reliable shipping — wherever they shop.
  • Save on costs with competitively priced storage and fulfillment, including order-level discounts.
  • Automate customer orders with API integrations and solution providers.
  • Choose shipping speed between expedited (2 business day) and standard (3–5 business day).
  • Tap into new sales channels with unbranded packaging and returns management.
  • Streamline inventory by maintaining 1 pool to fulfill all orders. Any fulfillment center can store multichannel inventory for delivery in all 50 US states and Puerto Rico.
  • Move aging and expiring inventory by offering it on multiple sales channels.

Eligibility

Before you get started, there are a few criteria:

  • You must be using Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS) to fulfill customer orders.
  • You must have a default billing method on file for WFS fees.
  • Items must meet the  product requirements  for WFS.
  • Multi-box  and  big and bulky  items are currently not eligible.

You'll be automatically assigned to a fulfillment center, all of which store multichannel inventory for delivery in all 50 US states and Puerto Rico.

How does it work?

If you meet the eligibility requirements, you’re ready to  add your sales channels  and  add customer orders.  Once you’re all set up, we will pack and ship your orders in unbranded packaging to your customers.

We support any sales channel, as long as the customer orders and returns comply with the terms of service you’ve agreed to on the original eCommerce site. Our shipping speed and packaging should also be appropriate for the sales channel.

You have complete flexibility over which sales channels are fulfilled. By default, items are listed on Walmart.com, but you’re welcome to sell exclusively on off-Walmart channels.

About MCS shipping

  • Multichannel orders can only be shipped to US addresses within the 50 states and Puerto Rico.
  • We do not ship to P.O. boxes.
  • We ship multichannel orders in unbranded poly bags or brown boxes with plain tape and dunnage.
  • Items weighing between 31 and 150 lbs are not eligible for expedited shipping.
  • Shipping speeds are not guaranteed during peak (October 1–December 31), sales events and other circumstances.
