If you provide the wrong Product ID, your item will be merged incorrectly, which can increase your order cancellation rate, create a bad customer experience, produce customer fraud complaints and result in a lower rating on your Seller Scorecard.
To help ensure that your multi-pack or custom item is matched correctly, follow the suggestions below:
- If you are selling a multi-pack item (i.e. pack of 6), use the Product ID that applies to the entire pack or case. Do not use the Product ID of the individual items in the pack or case.
- If you are selling a customized item (i.e. assembled hardware or a tailored bundle), only use the Product ID of the customized item.
