Other Topics
Deals is an invite-only program where you can submit items into Walmart-created promotions that have set dates or themes. Items selected for the Deals program are provided with maximum exposure on Walmart.ca. In this guide, you’ll learn how the Deals program works.
Deal Categories
There are two types of Deals you can enroll your items in: Flash Deals and Seasonal Events
Flash Deals
There are unique deals refreshed every 7 days. The items featured in Flash Deals will receive high traffic through prominent placements on Walmart.ca. All submissions for Flash Deals should be made only through Seller Center. Items will be shortlisted based on the eligibility criteria.
All submissions for Flash Deals should be made only through Seller Center.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for Flash Deals, items will be evaluated based on the following criteria;
- Top rated and high number of reviews: Recommended 4 starts and above with a minimum of 10 reviews. This criterion does not apply in the case of a new launch
- WFS (Walmart Fulfilled Service) enabled item
- Click to promise: Less than 5 days
- Minimum of 10% discount: The offer should be deeper than the previous work
- Content core of 70% and above: Images, bullets points, and descriptions should be detailed
- Highly related to the season
- Competitive offer
- Published Item: The item should be published and have sufficient inventory to cover the Flash Deals period
Seasonal Events
These are events where the campaign period is tied to a particular theme. Each seasonal event will have its own criteria for submission, which will be present within the "Event Guidelines" section for each event. These new deals are available weekly, indicating the respective start date, end date, and submission deadline.
After you have submitted your items for consideration, the deal will appear on the deals dashboard where you can monitor the qualification status of your deal items. Once Walmart has reviewed your items, they will be labeled as Auto- Approved, Approved, Declined, or Needs Review. You can select the status and view specific feedback for those items.
