Add Contacts

We've added your Primary contact on file to all contact types to start. However, if you had to add contacts for the first time, follow the steps below:
- Select Add Contact in the box to the right of the contact description.
- To add additional contacts, select Add Contact under the contact description.
- First and last name
- Phone number - You can add different phone numbers for a specific contact who operates in different markets
- Email address
- Alternate email (optional)
3. If you have more than one Customer Service Contact, you can choose to designate a Primary Contact by selecting the checkbox Make primary contact.
4. Enter the required information for the individual contact and select Save Contact.

If you wish to include a distribution list as a contact:
- Select the radio button next to the Distribution List option. Distribution lists are helpful for issues, such as customer service escalations, that require the notification of several individuals.
- You will then be prompted to enter an email address.
- Once you've entered the email, click Save Distribution Email.

Once a contact has been added, it will appear under the contact type.

Add or Edit a Primary Contact
Sellers can designate a Primary contact when they have multiple contacts for a contact type.
Add or edit a Primary Contact:
- Either add or edit a new contact type.
- Fill out the name, email, and phone number and select the checkbox next to Make primary contact.
- Select Save Contact

You cannot set a distribution list as a Primary Contact.
Once a contact is marked as a Primary contact, a information icon appears to the far right of the contact details. Only one designated Primary contact per contact type is permitted at a time.

Delete a Primary Contact
If you want to remove a Primary Contact due to organizational changes within your business, you must first designate another contact as the Primary. You cannot delete a Primary contact without designating a replacement Primary contact.
- Edit or add a contact that you want to make Primary
- Select the checkbox next to Make primary contact
- Select Save Contact.

Edit, Duplicate or Delete Contacts

- You can edit an existing contact by selecting the pencil icon under the Actions column. You can only edit the Name, Phone Number, and Alternate Email.
- If the same person handles multiple issues for your organization, you can duplicate a contact by clicking the ID Card icon and selecting the other contact type you want this contact to be associated with.
- You can delete contacts by selecting the red trash can icon. Since at least one contact is required, if you have only one contact, you will only see options to Edit or Duplicate the contact. If you try to delete a contact that has been duplicated for other contact types, you will need to choose which contact types you're removing it from.
If you have an individual contact and a distribution list as your contacts, you will need to add another individual contact before you are able to delete the original individual contact.
Maintain Contacts
You are responsible for adding and updating your contacts regularly. Failure to do so may result in your company missing important updates from Walmart. Partner Support cannot make updates on your behalf. Only users with Admin or Read/Write access can make changes to these contacts. If you do not have the necessary permissions, please contact your company's administrator and ask them to update your level of access.
