Overview

It's important to track your Activity Feed so that you can resolve any errors that occur when you submit your feeds. Whether you are using Item FeedsInventory FeedsPrice Feeds or Promo Feeds, the Activity Feed  page gives you a real-time snapshot of each feed and its current state at the SKU level.

Accessing the Activity Feed Page

To access the Feed Status page:

  1. Log in to Seller Center.
  2. From the Items & Inventory section in the left menu, select Activity Feed.

3. From the Activity Feed page, you can use the Feed Type filter in the Filters section of the page to change the type of feed you are viewing. You can choose an Item FeedInventory Feed, a Price Feed or a Promo Feed

Check for Feed-Level Errors

If your feed has any errors, you will see a column on the Activity Feed page called Errors. If there are any errors, the number of errors for the feed will be hyperlinked in blue. You will also see a red Download Errors link under the column Error File if there are any errors.
To view the errors for a particular feed, you can either:

  1. Click the
  2. Click the download errors link. This will download all of your errors into a CSV file that can be opened using Excel. This also allows you to view the SKUs' errors.

Once you get the list of errors, you should use the error messaging to either:

  • Fix the root of the problem at the source level by updating your original feed and resubmitting that feed.
  • Create and submit a new feed that only includes the items that had errors. Submit the feed when completed.

Common Errors:

  • If you experience a timeout error in your Activity Feed (Item Setup, Inventory Setup, Price, Promo Setup), please wait 4-6 hours and validate before you resubmit your feed.
  • Please allow 6-8 hours between Item Setup and Inventory Setup for new products.

Notes

If you do not find your feed post submission under Activity Feed, there may be validation errors in the worksheet. Please correct any validation errors and resubmit.

Feed Limits

The maximum Excel file size is 25MB. If you upload feed files that are too large or upload too many feed files within one hour, you will encounter errors. Specific feed limits are listed in the table below.
